Babu Eshwar Prasad was a recipient of Junior Fellowship and National Scholarship, Ministry of HRD, Government of India, and Kar nataka Lalit Kala Academi award, among others. His videos have been screened at several venues / festivals including Arad Biennale (Romania) and SAVAC (South Asian Visual Arts Collective), Toronto. Babu created a time-specific installation at KHOJ and in several other collaborative projects.

The workshop highlighted the understanding of media video in relation to other time-based medias as cinema. The lecture ranged from a discussion and exercises towards exploring visual and conceptual languages of video and sound.
