Library
Library Timings: 11 am – 5 pm, Monday – Friday
At Utsha, we have a constructive, publicly owned, free library system that is accessible to all age groups and backgrounds.Through such a system, we aim to address the crisis by bringing book access to communities in need. Library at Utsha, stores books, magazines mostly donated by organisations. At times they are bought by us, if required.
Why does a free Library access matter?
In today's current situation of an apocalyptic world full of untruths, intolerance, and ignorance, it's becoming clear that libraries are essential, now more than ever. Two out of three children living in remote areas in poverty have no books to call their own. Such a library system becomes even more vital in a country like ours.
Over the years, libraries have become centers not simply for learning academics but as well for the learning of movements that support diverse communities. They are free public spaces that allow everyone to feel safe and to find the truth.
By providing an extended hand to the underprivileged, we try and help them read, learn and educate.
