1000 days 1000 books - Utsha Book Collection Drive

The Utsha Library Project aims to build a library on art and culture to enable people to use it as a resource that is available for free. For a city like Bhubaneswar, where there is no such institution, a library for common people that is open to all will be a precursor to disseminate otherwise confined institutional knowledge.

To take this project to another level we are launching an ambitious ‘1000 days 1000 books’ campaign in order to give you gracious donors an opportunity to open those coffers and lend us your valuable books on art and artists. So that everyone in this city can, artist and art admirer alike, can enjoy these books in the peace and tranquility of Utsha!

The campaign has been launched on the eve of Republic Day - January 26 ,2017, - and will end on October 23, 2019, exactly 1000 days from now. Hopefully we will get a lot more donations before that! There will be weekly updates on the Utsha Facebook page and website to show how well we are doing on the march towards a 1000 books. All donors will be listed on the website along with names of the books they donated.
